1. Keep hydrated!

Whilst the weather gets colder, it’s the warm drinks which are normally flowing to keep you cosy! But don’t forget to keep drinking water as well to keep you and your skin properly hydrated! Dehydration is a big issue in winter! I’m sure you will have noticed your hands are dryer or you are getting cracked lips! Well, did you know that your hair also dries out too?! If hair becomes too dry, it can cause the hair to snap, also resulting in a more painful wax! So, keep hydrated to prevent this!

2. Moisturise!

Along with keeping hydrated, it is vital to keep your skin moisturised! It’s the same in summer when you may be working in air-conditioned environments, the office heating can be a big effect on your skin! Also, blasting that hot air on your face whilst driving to work in the morning! All these things will dry out your skin! Make sure that your skin care routine is still followed throughout the summer months by moisturising your face and body. And of course, do not forget to moisturise your hands! Your hands will most likely be out in the cold weather and whilst at work, therefore your cuticles are more than likely to dry out, take a look at our nail oils and our hand and nail lotion.

3. Exfoliate!

The one thing you may either forget about or think is no longer important, as you are layering up in the cold weather, is to exfoliate! Exfoliating removes the dead skin cells and will also promote healthy growth for your new hairs to come through! Along with these, exfoliating will also help to prevent the growth of ingrown hairs.

Of course wrap up warm this winter, but do not forgot to look after your skin!
