All it takes is a quick scan of your Instagram news feed to realise that the ombré trend is hot right now and appears to show no signs of fading away – pardon the pun. Following on from the baby boomer trend that dominated everyones Instagram feeds in 2018, nail techs are now experimenting with ombrés in a range of designs and a rainbow of colours. Even Kylie Jenner has endorsed the trend by posting an image of her own nails earlier this month sporting a fluorescent coral and pink blend.
If you would like to experiment with the trend yourself then take inspiration from these gorgeous designs that have been created by our customers:
Combine two trends with one design like celebrity nail artist Amy G has done here by ombréing this seasons trendiest shade fluorescent yellow with a beige nude. To create this design Amy has used the Yellow Fluorescent Powder (£4.50 + VAT) from the Amy G Nail Art Collection.
If you want your nails to sizzle this spring then try this eye catching fluorescent orange ombré design that has been created by nail technician Lydz Nailz. To create this design Lydz has used the Hot Orange Fluorescent Powder (£4.50 + VAT) from the Amy G Nail Art Collection.
Alternatively if fluorescents aren’t really your thing then experiment with an ombré in a more muted pastel colour palette as nail technician Ashleigh Anne has done using our Gelover soak off gels in the colours Sitting Duck and Tinkerbell Effect (£8.95 + VAT each).
If you want to add some drama to your pastel ombré than add some sequins and 3D embellishments as nail technician Katie has done in this gorgeous lilac and pink design. To create this look Katie has used our Gelover soak off gels in the colours First Crush and Tinkerbell Effect (£8.95 + VAT each).
Want to take your ombré to the next level? Instead of ombréing your favourite colours, another great take on the trend is to fade glitter as celebrity nail artist Amy G has done here using the Copper Platinum Gel (£7.50 + VAT) from the Amy G Nail Art Collection.Feeling inspired?
